Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain client computer systems and applications.
- Respond promptly to IT support requests from users
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Provide technical support both on-site and via remote access tools.
- Maintain and monitor computer systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Repair or replace faulty hardware components when required.
- Assist users with system configurations and software installations.
- Maintain records of issues, solutions, and system updates.
- Track support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for completed tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Technical Support Engineer / IT Support Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking systems.
- Familiarity with web services, APIs, and IP-based protocols.
- Basic experience with scripting languages such as Shell or Perl (preferred).
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze technical problems and provide effective solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and networking tools.
- Knowledge of remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Understanding of IT security and system maintenance practices
Requirements & Educations :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), Computer
Applications (BCA), or a related technical field. - Diploma in Computer Engineering / IT can also be considered.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft certifications, or similar
will be an added advantage.
