About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Native Android Developer with 6 months to 1.5 years of hands-on experience in Android application development. The ideal candidate should have experience developing and maintaining Android applications using modern Android technologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Debug and resolve application defects, crashes, and performance issues.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
- Stay updated with emerging Android technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and good understanding of Java.
- Hands-on experience with Android Studio and Android SDK.
- Good understanding of Android app lifecycle and Activity/Fragment management.
- Experience with MVVM Architecture.
- Familiarity with Jetpack Components such as:
- ViewModel
- LiveData
- Navigation Component
- Room Database
- Data Binding/View Binding
- Experience consuming REST APIs using Retrofit.
- Understanding of JSON parsing and API integration.
- Knowledge of Coroutines and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
- Understanding of Material Design Guidelines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications).
- Knowledge of Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt/Dagger.
- Understanding of local data storage using Room or SQLite.
- Experience publishing applications on the Google Play Store.
- Knowledge of unit testing and debugging tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 Months to 1.5 Years of professional Android development experience.
